Lead missioner AMC Europe
The Anglican Missionary Congregations (AMC) United Kingdom and Europe c/o AMCChurch of Restoration (AMC Headquarters), 70 Chalford Road, Manchester, M23 2SG is in need of clergy (minister of religion) who would fit into its programme and would be able to carry out the mandate of the AMC.
Such a person must be a clergy of the Anglican Church Ordained in any Anglican province in any part of the world and must have acquired all the necessary experience needed to minister in the Anglican Church.
Preference would be given to any previous experience in working with young churches, planting new groups and managing any Church in the United Kingdom. Must be ready to pioneer planting of new churches and support all church projects and work along the vision of the AMC to establish and grow more branches of the church to evangelise the UK.
The Minister must be prepared to provide support to those in spiritual need, comfort the broken-hearted, do pastoral visitations, assist in organising and administering Holy communion, officiate or assist in marriage blessings/weddings, funerals, baptisms, dedications, provide spiritual guidance and assistance to members. He must be an ardent believer in the orthodox faith, an evangelical and ready to divide the word of God undiluted.
The Minister must be sound in planning and setting up goals, organizing meetings, conferences, recruitment and training of church workers. Would be able to carry out basic administrative roles and duties; experience in IT skills in Excel spreadsheet, word and power point presentations will be needed.
His role will also involve overseeing the care and maintenance of the church building and property. Meeting with the management board of the church and reporting all the day to day activities related with the management of the church to the board and when needed to the Lead Missioner.
Should also be able to organise and oversee Christian educational events and programmes; support all church projects and fulfil other purposes which are exclusively charitable and connected with the charitable work of the Church according to the laws of England and Wales.
Successful experience in the working with any Church in UK would be an added advantage. Also, any UK Experience in managing and running office, administration of the church office including leasing with government and charities would be great.
As the Minister would be working closely with families in Church, AMC Would prefer a married person or about to marry to take up this job.
A full UK driving license would be an advantage and should be able to travel anywhere in UK as may be required from time to time.
Further requirements:
Minimum of diploma in theology or its equivalent. Must not have any criminal record or ongoing criminal investigation. If in a diocese must be able to secure a written release letter from his bishop and must be willing to provide two references from two senior Anglican clerics addressed to Lead Missioner /Chair-Board of Directors, Anglican Missionary Congregations (AMC) Europe, 70 Chalford Road, Manchester, M23 2SG.
