Join our dedicated and compassionate community at Anglican Missionary Congregations (AMC)Hull, (A.K.A AMC-All Saints Assembly Hull) CIC, a registered charity committed to serving both our congregation and the wider community in the UK. Our church is a place of worship, fellowship, and outreach, providing spiritual guidance, support, and charity to those in need. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Minister of Religion to lead our congregation and further our mission of faith and service. 


Job Description: 

As the Minister of Religion, you will play a central role in the spiritual and community life of our church. You will be responsible for leading worship services, providing pastoral care, and engaging with the community to promote the values and teachings of our faith. Your key responsibilities will include: 


• Worship Leadership: Leading regular worship services, including sermons, prayers, and sacraments, ensuring they are inspiring, inclusive, and spiritually enriching. 

• Pastoral Care: Providing pastoral support and counselling to members of the congregation, offering guidance, comfort, and encouragement in times of need. 

• Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with the local community, fostering a spirit of inclusiveness, and promoting the church’s outreach programs and charitable activities. 

• Religious Education: Organizing and leading religious education programs for all ages, including Bible studies, confirmation classes, and youth groups. 

• Administrative Duties: Overseeing the administrative functions of the church, including managing volunteers, coordinating events, and ensuring compliance with charity regulations. 

• Spiritual Growth: Encouraging and supporting the spiritual growth and development of the congregation through various initiatives and programs. 


Qualifications: 

• Ordained minister or equivalent theological qualification recognized by the church. 

• Strong theological knowledge and a deep personal faith. 

• Proven experience in pastoral care, worship leadership, and community engagement. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. 

• Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, and the wider community. 

• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
